Meet Your Designer

Hey!

I’m Kristi Edwards, owner and lead designer of Wild Aura Floral. Many people enjoy working with flowers but my relationship with them is so different. Flowers have been my heart my entire life. As a young girl my grandmother and I would walk to her neighborhood flower shop and dream of owning my own one day. I studied horticulture and floral design classes in college and the day before my 19th birthday I started work at a local flower shop in Florida. After moving to Utah I continued my career in a flower shop and became the lead designer and design room manager. Now, a decade later, I opened Wild Aura and haven’t looked back. 
 

My design aesthetic varies from lush-romantic to artsy-chic and some of my favorite flowers to design with are garden roses, ranunculus, tulips and stock (or anything locally grown). Bright eclectic color palettes always get my creativity flowing but I will always have a place in my heart for soft pastels and classic white weddings.

When I’m not designing flowers you can find me in the yoga studio teaching or practicing, hiking in our beautiful mountains or in the backyard running around with my husband, daughter and dogs.
